Non so voi, ma a me piace decorare la casa con stampe, illustrazioni e grafica... Mi piace cambiare la loro disposizione, aggiungerne di nuove, giocare con le forme ed i colori... E naturalmente, inventare dei DIY per realizzare delle piccole affiches!

I don't know about you, but I like to decorate the house with prints, illustrations and graphics ... I like to change them, add new ones, playing with shapes and colors ... And of course, invent DIY to make small posters!

Oggi ho pensato ad una frase. Sono convinta che dietro un percorso creativo, un cambiamento importante, sia fondamentale essere positivi ed avere grande motivazione... Purtroppo, certi giorni, non è facile. Allora forse scrivere a chiare lettere che sì, "ogni giorno è un buon giorno", può aiutare a ricordare che...

Today I thought of a sentence. I'm convinced that behind a creative journey, an important change, it's essential to be positive and have great motivation... Unfortunately, on some days, it's not easy. Then maybe write clearly that yes, "every day is a good day", it can help to remember that...

Per realizzare questa affiche è bastato scrivere la frase al computer con un font bold a circa 250 punti; stampare, riportare le lettere con la carta copiativa sul cartoncino e ritagliare con il bisturi o il cutter.
Incollare su un foglio bianco e mettere in cornice.
Un'ottima e più sobria soluzione è quella di usare un solo colore (e non 9 come ho fatto io!! :-P) e stampare le lettere direttamente sul cartoncino.
Oggi per me è un buon giorno. E per voi? 

To realize this posters it is enough to write a sentence on computer with a bold font at about 250 points, print, and bring the letters with the tracing paper onto the cardboard and cut out with a scalpel or craft knife. 
Glue on a white sheet and put in the frame. 
An excellent and more sober solution is to use only one color (and not 9 as I did! :-P) and print the letters directly on the cardboard. 
Today is a good day for me. And for you?

DIY Paper Christmas wreath ● Ghirlanda di Natale DIY

Siamo nell'ultima settimana prima di Natale e ancora non avevo preparato una ghirlanda da appendere alla nostra porta di ingresso! Ma questa mattina mi sono detta: la devo fareee!!
Come sempre, volevo trovare una soluzione semplice, veloce, ma ovviamente anche carina e che trasmettesse calore ed allegria... E poi, doveva essere diversa dalle solite cose, colorata ma non troppo... Insomma, pieno di tutte le caratteristiche (troppe) con cui cerco di contraddistinguere ogni cosa che faccio...!

We are in the last week before Christmas and I still had not prepared a wreath to hang on our front door! But this morning I said to myself: I have to dooo! 
As always, I wanted to find an easy, fast, but of course also nice and that transmits warmth and joy... And then, it had to be different from the usual stuff, but not too colorful... In short, full of all the features (too many) with which I try to distinguish every thing I do...!

Per realizzarla ho utilizzato una comune base di polistirolo rivestita con del filo pirkka che avevo già da qualche anno... Poi mi sono stampata in due misure le stelle 3d (quelle che avete trovato in questo post) su un cartoncino menta e le ho attaccate alla ghirlanda con dello scotch biadesivo.
Ho completato con una tag illustrata ed un campanello... Che Natale è senza i campanelli delle renne?!

To realize it I used a common basis of polystyrene coated with wire pirkka that I had a few years ago... Then I printed in two sizes stars 3d (the ones that you have found in this post) on a cardboard mint, and I stuck to the wreath with double sided tape. What Christmas without the reindeer bells?!

E se la vostra porta di casa non è riparata ed è esposta al vento o alle intemperie... Potete sempre utilizzarla in casa, magari sopra un tavolino od una mensola in cui posizionare le vostre decorazioni preferite! Cosa ne pensate?

And if your front door is not repaired and it is exposed to wind or inclement weather ... You can always use it at home, maybe on a table or a shelf on which to place your favorite decorations! What do you think?

Ho anche preparato due stelline in più per utilizzarle come chiudipacco... Devo ancora incartare quasi tutti i regali, aiuto!!

Paper snowflakes diy

Come vanno i vostri preparativi per il Natale? Avete già addobbato tutta la casa?!
Io ancora no, con i bambini abbiamo fatto solo l'albero, ieri pomeriggio, quando sono tornati da scuola, ascoltando Frank Sinatra, che risate, hanno dato il meglio di loro! :)
Per questo pomeriggio ho invece pensato a questa attività: creare dei fiocchi di neve di carta, partendo da un semplice rettangolo 12x24 cm di carta leggera, piegata a fisarmonica, legata con un filo e ritagliata.
Guardate come si fa!

How are your Christmas preparations? You have already decorated the whole house?! 
I still not, with the kids we only did the Christmas tree, yesterday afternoon, when they're returned from school, listening to Frank Sinatra, lol, got the better of them! :) 
For this afternoon, I rather thought this activity: create snowflakes paper, starting from a simple rectangle 12x24 cm of lightweight paper, folded like an accordion, tied with a thread and cropped. 
See how it's done!

Nei materiali ho dimenticato la colla, che se serve per incollare le due metà del fiocco di neve, mi perdonateee???

In materials I forgot the glue, if that serves to glue the two halves of the snowflake, do you forgive meee??

Non vi preoccupate se ci saranno delle imprecisioni: l'effetto finale è così ricco e decorativo che non farete caso se qualcosa "non è venuto bene", e soprattutto, i bambini saranno gratificati di aver fatto con le loro manine qualcosa di bello! :)

Don't worry if there will be some imprecisions: the final effect is so rich and decorative that you don't see if something "didn't come good," and most importantly, the children will be gratified to have made with their hands something beautiful! :)

Possono diventare dei chiudi pacco, essere appese... E con le stesse proporzioni potrete crearne anche di più grandi e scenografiche!

They can become a gift tag, to be hung ... And with the same proportions, you can create even big and more scenographic!

E' uno di quei progetti che si ottiene "tanto con poco"...

And it's one of those projects that you get "much with a bit"... I hope that in "my english" sound well! ;)

Ma quello che mi piace di più è avere un tavolo circondato da persone che fanno qualcosa insieme...!

Paper stars 3D At home for XMAS

Oggi tocca a me mostrare un tutorial per il progetto "At home for XMAS"!! Non vedevo l'ora di mostrarvelo, perchè sono davvero contenta del risultato!
Si tratta di un semplice metodo per realizzare delle stelle tridimensionali, da appendere alla parete, all'albero, o a un ramo, come ho fatto io.

Today it's my turn to show a tutorial for the project "At home for XMAS"! I couldn't wait to show it to you, because I am really happy with the result! 
It's a simple method to realize the three-dimensional star, to hang on the wall, tree, or a branch, like I did.

Vi ho anche preparato un bel pdf stampabile con 6 stelline da ritagliare, lo trovate cliccando qui, siete contenti?! Il procedimento poi è semplicissimo:
1. Ritagliate le stelle (vi consiglio di utilizzare carta di 160-180 gr), prendere del filo di cotone ed una perforatrice a foro piccolo.
2. Piegate a metà la stella, premendo bene con il dito sulla piega, e ripetete per ogni punta e...
3. ...la stella è diventata tridimensionale in un attimo!
4. Forate ad almeno 1,3 cm dalla punta e inserite il filo: pronte da appendere!

I have also prepared a nice printable pdf with 6 starlets to crop, you can find it by clicking here, are you happy?! The procedure then is very simple: 
1. Cut out the stars (I recommend you use paper of 160-180 gr), take some cotton twine and a small hole puncher. 
2. Fold in half the star, pressing with your finger on the fold, and repeat for each tip and ... 
3. ...the three-dimensional star has become a breeze! 
4. Drilled at least 1.3 cm from the tip and insert the wire: ready to hang!

Io mi sono divertita a creare un piccolo paesaggio invernale ed una piccola storia che si ripete ogni anno: fa freddo, si sta tutti insieme a casa, sotto ad un cielo pieno di stelle: é la magia del Natale!
Mi mancava un cerbiatto! :D

Come vi avevo preannunciato in qualche post fa, vorrei condividere con voi i libri che più amo della mia sovraffollata libreria!
Partiamo subito con "Fêtes en papier" di Adeline Klam: un libro con più di 60 progetti da fare per ogni tipo di festa, dal Natale ai matrimoni, realizzati tutti con la carta!
Vi si possono trovare origami, ghirlande, decorazioni da parete, scatoline, bunting... Il tutto corredato da splendide fotografie con lo styling impeccabile di Emily Guelpa (una che fotografa, cucina, e fa la grafica... Un talento come hanno poche persone!!) nonchè disegni e spiegazioni dettagliate... Ovviamente in francese, ma vi assicuro che sono diy alla portata di tutti, e la lingua diversa non sarà un ostacolo!
Un libro che è un gioiello!
Detto questo... Non so che cadenza avrà questa rubrica, perdonatemi, ma come sapete è un periodo davvero intenso!!

As I announced in a few posts ago, I would like to share with you the books I love most of my overcrowded library! 
Let's start off with "Fêtes en papier" Adeline Klam: a book with more than 60 projects to do for every kind of celebration, from Christmas to weddings, all made with paper! 
There you can find origami, wreaths, wall decorations, boxes, bunting ... All accompanied by wonderful photographs with impeccable styling by Emily Guelpa (one that photographing, cooking, and does the graphics... A such talent that few people have!) as well with drawings and detailed explanations... Of course, in french, but I assure you that they are diy to everyone, and the different language will not be an obstacle! 
A book that is a gem! 
That said... I don't know that this column will cadence, forgive me, but as you know this time is a really intense!

At home for XMAS

Per tanto tempo mi sono sempre rifugiata nel web per trovare persone con le mie stesse passioni e che hanno scelto la creatività per esprimersi e realizzarsi...
Ma finalmente queste ragazze sono vicino a me, le posso abbracciare, posso ridere e confrontarmi con loro... Non c'è gioia più grande di ritrovarsi intorno ad un tavolo e fare quello che più ci diverte: creare (e chiaccherare ininterrottamente!!)... : D
Sto parlando di Manuela, Sara e Anabella, 3 ragazze solari, dolcissime, che come me sono mamme, e che hanno sempre in mente qualcosa da fare!!

For a long time I have always gone back to the web to find people with my same interests and who have chosen creativity to express and to realize themselves... 
But finally, these girls are close to me, I can embrace, I can laugh and work with them... There is no greater joy than to meet around a table and do what we enjoy most: create (and chatting non-stop!)... : D
I'm talking about Manuela, Sara and Anabella, 3 solar girls, very sweet, then like me who are moms, and then always in their mind have something to do!!

Il Natale è alle porte... Per noi significa stare insieme, a casa, circondati dalle persone che amiamo: è nato così "At home for XMAS", un progetto per condividere con voi le nostre idee e decorazioni per una festa così magica e speciale come il Natale.

Garland with scraps and cutouts

Oggi è una giornata grigia  e piovosa, la casa è buia e a farmi compagnia c'è la musica, sempre, ed il mio micio Sushi acciambellato.
Tra qualche ora i miei bambini usciranno da scuola e per la nostra merenda ho preparato delle crostatine con le mele (sono in forno, se poi le volete vedere seguitemi su Instagram!)

Today is a gray, rainy day, the house is dark and keep me company there are the music, always, and my cat Sushi curled up. 
In a few hours my children will come back to school and for our afternoon break I made tarts with apples (they are in the oven, if you want to see then follow me on Instagram!)

Lo sapete che ho uno scatolone pieno di ritagli?! Conservo tutto, cartoncini minuscoli di ogni colore, ritagli, piccoli paper cut non utilizzati... Non mi chiedete perchè, prima o poi mi inventerò qualcosa per utilizzarli tutti insieme e fare finalmente un po' di pulizia e spazio >:-), ma intanto vi mostro un progetto semplice e veloce per portare un po' di colore ed allegria in giornate come queste! :)

Did you know that I have a box full of scraps?! I keep everything, tiny cardboards of each color, cutouts, small paper cut unused ... Don't ask me why, sooner or later I will invent something to use them all together and finally do some cleaning and space >:-), but in the meantime I'll show you a quick and easy project to bring a little color and cheerfulness on days like these! :)

Prendete quello che avete a portata di mano, delle mollettine, un po' di spago e due pezzetti di washi tape: attaccate e appuntate liberamente lasciandovi guidare dalle forme e dai colore che più sentite vostri, senza eccedere con troppe tonalità... Sovrapponete, scambiate, divertitevi: vedrete che con poco otterrete molto, e questo vi renderà felici! :)

Take what you have on hand, the small clips, a bit of twine and two pieces of washi tape: attacked and pinned freely letting yourselves be guided by the shapes and color that you feel yours, without overdoing too many shades ... Overlap, exchanged, have fun and you will see that you will get with very little, and this will make you happy! :)

Little paper garland

Ma quanti giorni è che non aggiorno il blog? Troppi!! ;)
Sono davvero molto impegnata, ma avevo voglia di fare una ghirlanda! (Un'altra?!?)
Questa, a differenza delle solite, ha gli elementi molto piccoli e distanti tra loro, risultando così più delicata e leggera.

But how many days is that I do not update the blog? Too many! ;) 
I'm really busy, but I wanted to make a garland! (Another?!?) 
This, unlike the usual, has the elements very small and far between, making it more delicate and light.

Per realizzarla ho utilizzato del filo di cotone per il cucito, cartoncini colorati e a fantasia, fustelle a cerchio da 1 e 2,5 cm, fustella a stella. Il filo passa tra due elementi incollati tra loro.
Tempo, tempo, datemi del tempo!
A presto!!

To realize it I used cotton yarn for sewing, colored and patterned, circle punches 1 and 2,5 cm, star punch. The wire passes between two elements glued together.
Time, time, give me some time!

DIY Halloween jars

Halloween è sicuramente una festa che piace molto ai bambini: è un'occasione per travestirsi, mangiare qualche dolcetto in più, e soprattutto, per giocare!
E quale modo migliore se non quello di fare scherzi e spaventi?
Giocare "al buio" e a fare i fantasmi diverte sempre molto i nostri piccoli... Così ho pensato a delle lanterne per creare ancora più atmosfera in queste ore dedicate alla festa di Halloween!
Prepararle è molto semplice, vi occorre:
barattoli di vetro, anche di diverse dimensioni e forma, cartoncino nero, forbici, colla vinilica, pennello, candele.

Halloween is definitely a party who really like the children, is an occasion to dress up, eat some candy in addition, and most importantly, to play!
And what better way than to make jokes and scares?
Playing "blind" and do the ghosts always amuses our little ... So I thought of the lanterns to create even more atmosphere in these hours dedicated to the Halloween party! 
Prepare them is very simple, you need:
glass jars, also vary in size and shape, black cardboard, scissors, glue, brush, candles.

Ritagliate dal cartoncino nero tante stelline e i pipistrelli. Per chi si sente negato con il disegno, può scaricare e stampare in A4 il mio modello cliccando qui!
Naturalmente si possono aggiungere fantasmini, zucche, gatti neri... Anche in base alla manualità ed all'età dei bambini.

Cut from black cardboard so many little stars and bats. For those who feel denied with the drawing, you can download and print in A4 my model by clicking here!
Of course you can add ghosts, pumpkins, cats blacks ... Even according to the manual and the age of the children.

Con il pennello passate la colla vinilica sul cartoncino e incollatelo al vasetto, tenendolo premuto per alcuni istanti.

With the brush past the glue on the cardboard and glue it to the jar, hold it down for a few moments.

Procedete ad incollare i vostri ritagli ricoprendo tutto il vasetto, inserite una candela e...

Proceed to paste your clippings covering the whole jar, insert a candle and ...

... aspettate la sera!
Le candele accese proietteranno intorno le sagome dei cartoncini e non vi rimane che cominciare il gioco: dolcetto o scherzetto?

Abilmente 2013

Sabato sono andata per la prima volta alla fiera di Abilmente a Vicenza: che esperienza!
Sono partita prestissimo da Roma con Emanuela, Giorgia ed Anabella, e per fortuna grazie alla loro compagnia il lungo viaggio si è riempito di allegria, sorrisi, racconti e progetti!
La prima tappa naturalmente è stata allo stand di CasaFacile, e finalmente abbracciare persone con cui per tanti mesi si è solamente dialogato dietro lo schermo di un computer... Quante emozioni!!!

Saturday I went for the first time at the fair in Vicenza Abilmente: what an experience! 
I left early from Rome with Emanuela, Giorgia and Anabella, and fortunately thanks to their company the long journey was filled with joy, laughter, stories and projects! 
The first step of course was to CasaFacile's stand, and finally embrace people with whom for so many months has only talked behind the screen of a computer ... How many emotions!

Questa fiera è davvero enorme, e il nostro tempo a disposizione ridotto! La maggior parte degli espositori era del settore tessile e dei filati, ma abbiamo trovato anche deliziosi componenti d'arredo e, soprattutto, materiale creativo! Fustelle, tamponi colorati, nastri...
Qui sopra vedete quello che ho comprato... Ho scoperto molti nuovi marchi e quindi mi sembrava carino segnalarvi dove poterli acquistare online!

This show is really huge, and our available time reduced! Most of the exhibitors was of textile and yarn, but we also found delicious furnishing components and, above all, creative material! Punches, colored stamp pads, ribbons...
Above you see what I bought ... I have discovered many new brands and then it seemed nice to tell you where you can purchase them online!

Halloween free printable

Adoro i pattern. Tutti. Le righe, i pois, i fiorellini... E i fantasmini! Allora visto che la festa di Halloween si avvicina, e che disegnare pattern è una cosa che mi diverte molto...
Nel post di oggi ho preparato 5 diversi motivi in formato A4 che potete stampare a casa e usare come più vi piace!

I love the pattern. All of them. The lines, polka dots, the flowers ... And the ghosts! So since Halloween is approaching, and that draw pattern is something that I really enjoy ... 
In today's post I made 5 different motifs in A4 format that you can print at home and use it however you like!

Eccoli qua! Pois, fantasmini, stelle, strisce e caramelle. Molto semplici, ed in bianco e nero.
Cosa possiamo fare?

Here they are! Polka dots, ghosts, stars, stripes and candy. Very simple, and black and white. 
What can we do?

Delle piccole flags per decorare la merenda dei bambini o un party...

Ovviamente dei pacchetti regalo! Perchè se anche non è tradizione regalare qualcosa per Halloween, sono sicura che trovare un ragno per spaventare la sorellina o una caramella, farà felice il vostro bambino!

My Washi Tape: workshop!

Ciao a tutti! Finalmente vi parlo del workshop di domenica organizzato da Anabella di My Washi Tape!!

Un pomeriggio tra donne, alcune  già si conoscevano, e con le altre è scattata subito quella grande intesa che si stabilisce tra chi ama la creatività e chi ha scelto questa via come stile di vita!

Tante voglia di fare, di provare, di giocare... Ma anche tanta voglia di raccontarsi e di confrontarsi...

Ed il tempo non basta mai!! :)

Hello to all! Finally, I speak of the workshop on Sunday organized by Anabella of My Washi Tape! 

One afternoon between women, some of them already knew each other, and the other is taken immediately the great feeling that exists between those who love the creativity and those who have chosen this way as a style of life! 

Many want to do, to try, to play ... But also a great desire to tell their stories and to compare ... 

And the time is never enough! :)

Sono tornata a casa con tanti washi tapes nuovi (hi hi hi!), tanti sorrisi impressi nel cuore, ed un quaderno che Anabella ha dato ad ognuna di noi, dove appuntare i nostri pensieri, idee, sogni, in modo spontaneo...

Una specie di diario dove essere libere di fare... 

Ma insomma chi c'era??? Anabella, Sara, Emanuela, Stefania, Giorgia, Manuela e naturalmente, la sottoscritta! :)

Abbiamo fatto un sacco di foto, così mi è venuto in mente che sarebbe stato carino riunirle in un piccolo video, perchè ogni momento è stato unico e ci siamo davvero divertite!

I came home with many new washi tapes (hi hi hi!), many smiles in my heart, and a notebook that Anabella has given to each of us, where pinning our thoughts, ideas, dreams, spontaneously ... 

A kind of diary where to be free to do... 

But really who was there?? Anabella, Sara, Emanuela, Stefania, Giorgia, Manuela and of course, the undersigned! :) 

We did a lot of photos, so I had the idea that it would be nice to put them together in a little video, because every moment was unique and we really have fun!
