Workshop con CasaFacile & Croff

E' passata quasi una settimana dal workshop organizzato da CasaFacile & Croff!
Oggi voglio condividere con voi i miei progetti pensati insieme alla stylist che mi ha partecipato all'evento, Cristina Gigli: sono progetti semplici, creati per essere alla portata di tutti, ma in grado di dare quel tocco in più in quando riceviamo i nostri ospiti a casa! :)

It's been almost a week since the workshop organized by CasaFacile & Croff! 
Today I want to share with you my projects designed with the stylist that I participated in the event, Cristina Gigli: they are simple projects created to be accessible to everyone, but it can give you that little bit more when we receive our guests at home! :)

Siamo partiti dalla tavola: le atmosfere autunnali mi hanno fatto pensare di utilizzare ancora una volta le foglie come elemento decorativo, ma senza le tinte classiche di questa stagione!
Con Cristina abbiamo scelto dei carta da zucchero, alcuni toni neutri per scaldare e io ci ho aggiunto il menta ed un pattern geometrico disegnato da me. 
Una semplice piega a metà e subito la foglia diventa tridimensionale!
La tovaglia a fantasia floreale Croff completa perfettamente il nostro table setting!

We started from the table: the autumn atmosphere made ​​me think once again to use the leaves as a decorative element, but without the classic shades of the season! 
With Cristina we have chosen the sugar paper, some neutral tones to warm up and I added the mint and a geometric pattern designed by me. 
A simple fold the leaf in half and immediately becomes three-dimensional!

Abbiamo legato ogni tovagliolo con gros grain, corde, nastri di stoffa e due foglie... Ognuno differente!

We tied each napkin with grosgrain, ropes, ribbons of fabric and two leaves... Each different!

Allo stesso modo abbiamo legato ad ogni bicchiere una foglia con le iniziali dei nostri ospiti: nel caso di un aperitivo o di una cena informale saranno utili per non perdere di vista il proprio bicchiere! ;)

In the same way we tied to each glass a leaf with the initials of our guests in the event of a drink or a casual dinner will be useful to keep an eye on your glass! ;)

Se invece i nostri amici verranno all'ora del tè, io e Cristina abbiamo pensato a qualcosa che potesse coinvolgere anche i bambini nella realizzazione...

Allora via libera a colori vivaci e pattern; forbici, un filo ed una perforatrice faranno il resto, vi piace questo bunting?
Al posto della classica tovaglietta possiamo sagomare il cartoncino del nostro colore preferito a forma di fiore!

Per fare tanti allegri cake topper basterà una fustella  e degli stuzzicadenti: i bambini adorano usare le fustelle, in un attimo avrete pronti decine di cake topper, ne sono sicura! :)

For many happy cake topper just a punch and toothpicks: the kids love to use punches, in a moment you'll spot dozens of cake topper, I'm sure! :)

Se gli ospiti rimangono a dormire... Abbiamo pensato di preparare gli ascigamani con le inziali, un bel nastro, dei saponi profumati...

If guests are to sleep... We have decided to prepare for towels with initials, a pretty ribbon, scented soaps...

Per finire un filo di stelle appese sopra il letto per aggiungere un tocco poetico alla stanza... Non vi sentite coccolati? 

Mancano alcune foto di altri semplici diy, come la lanterna plissettata che vedete nella prima foto con il table setting, ed un packaging per presentare in modo curato i vostri piatti... Ma io mostravo alle partecipanti come realizzare ogni progetto, la fotografa ha documentato ogni cosa! :)
Non mi resta che ringraziare CasaFacile per avermi scelto come blogger creativa e il negozio Croff e tutto lo staff per averci messo a disposizione i loro bellissimi prodotti e la loro cordialità!
Per me è stata un'esperienza bellissima... Per aver lavorato a fianco di Cristina, Daniela che ci ha aiutato con lo styling e Serena, che ha scattato foto meravigliose (le mie sono foto da blogger! :-P), ma soprattutto per il calore e l'entusiasmo di questi incontri: grazie a tutte le persone che hanno partecipato, per ogni vostra domanda, curiosità, sorriso, abbraccio, chiacchiera, complimento... GRAZIE! ♥
Adesso vi lascio... I miei bambini sono con il loro papà, e io ho una festa di Halloween da preparare!! 
Un dolce weekend a tutti! :)

Missing few pictures of other simple DIY, like pleated lantern you see in the first picture with the table setting, and packaging to present your dishes in a nice way... But I showed the participants how to make each project, the photographer has documented everything! :) 
I just have to thank CasaFacile for choosing me as a creative blogger and the shop Croff and all the staff for having made available their beautiful products and their cordiality!
For me it was a wonderful experience... To have worked alongside Cristina, Daniela who helped with styling and Serena, who took great photos (mine are pics by bloggers! :-P), but also for the warmth and enthusiasm of these meetings: thanks to all the people who participated, to all your questions, curiosity, smile, hug, talk, compliment ... THANK YOU! ♥
Now I leave you... My kids are with their dad, and I have a Halloween party to prepare!!

Giochi di Carta for Craft Cafe {on HeartHandmade UK}

Buongiorno a tutti! Questo post doveva essere online già venerdì, ma sono stata tutto il giorno a Roma per preparare il workshop di CasaFacile&Croff (che vedrete prossimamente!) e quindi mi ritrovo a pubblicarlo solo oggi!
Sono stata invitata da Claire di Heart Handmade UK a far parte del team di Craft Cafe, e venerdì appunto è stato pubblicato il mio primo post!
Io naturalmente sono felicissima di poter dare il mio contributo e di far parte di un gruppo di blogger così ricche di talento, soprattutto perchè amo e condivido con loro la stessa passione per l'handmade, il colore, la creatività. Sono Jenn, Ayda, Silvia, Aga e la stessa Claire.
Non mi stancherò mai di dirlo, tutto questo per me è la luce in una giornata nuvolosa, è quello che mi fa sentire felice, e che mi fa essere grata per ogni giorno in cui ritaglio, incollo, piego... Sono immensamente grata di poter fare questo nella vita!

Good morning everyone!
This post was supposed to be online as early as Friday, but I was all day in Rome to prepare for the workshop di CasaFacile&Croff (which you'll see soon!) So I find myself just post it today! 
I was invited by Claire of Heart Handmade UK to join the team of Craft Cafe, and Friday was just published my first post!
Of course, I'm so happy to be able to give my contribution and be part of a group of bloggers so rich in talent, especially because I love and I share with them the same passion for handmade, color and creativity.  They are Jenn, Ayda, Silvia, Aga and the same Claire. 
I never tire of saying, all this for me is the light on a cloudy day, it's what makes me feel happy, and that makes me be grateful for each day on which cut out, paste, fold...  I am so grateful to be able to do this in life!

Paper drops wall hanging

Sottotitolo di questo post: "ovvero, elogio della lentezza"! Ultimamente, come penso molte di noi donne, mi ritrovo a fare diverse cose nello stesso tempo... Spesso rimane poco tempo per portare avanti un'idea o un progetto che magari si ha in testa da settimane...

Subtitle of this post: "that is, praise of slowness"! Lately, as I think many of us women, I find myself doing several things at the same time... Often there is little time to carry out a project or an idea that maybe you are in my head for weeks...

E' il caso di questa semplice decorazione: non è nulla di straordinario, è solo la voglia di circondarsi dei colori che più si ama, di dare quel tocco di poesia alle pareti che mancava...

It's the case of this simple decoration: it's not anything extraordinary, it's just the desire to be surrounded by colors that you love, to give a touch of poetry on the walls that was missing...

Cosa c'entra allora la lentezza? Che mi ritrovo spesso a riflettere che tutti i miei lavori migliori sono stati frutto del tempo cui gli ho dedicato. Ci sono foto scattate, poi riscattate il giorno... Cose rifatte... Non è sempre così, ci sono anche le volte che tutto riesce subito, e quindi tanto meglio! ;)

What about the slowness? I often find myself thinking that all of my best works were the fruit of time which I devoted. There are photos taken, then re-taken the day after... Things redone... It's not always so, there are also times that everything turns out right away, and then all the better! ;)

Le vedete, sono semplici gocce di carta appese con un filo ad un legno trovato in spiaggia... Eppure trovare il tempo di accostare colori e pattern, ritaglire ed incollare... Quello no, non è stato semplice! ;) E adesso arrivo al punto: tutto quello che è fatto con cura, amore ed attenzione viene bene. Qualsiasi cosa. Sia fare una torta sia educare i figli, per dire.
Ma non c'è una regola precisa del tempo che occorre: talvolta è di più, talvolta è di meno. Ma io -voglio- trovare quel tempo. E non sarà facile, perchè dovrò prendere delle decisioni...

You see them, they are simple drops of paper hanging by a thread to a wood found on the beach ... Yet find the time to pull colors and patterns, still cut and paste... That no, it was not easy! ;) And now coming to the point: everything that is made with care, love and attention is good. Anything. Both make a cake, to educate the children, so to speak.  
But there is no precise rule of the time required: It is sometimes more, sometimes less. But I -want- that time. It will not be easy, because I will have to make decisions...

Voi cosa ne pensate? A presto! ♥

Giochi di Carta is .com! {and new blog design}

Insomma, questo post doveva già essere online dal primo di Settembre... Poi invece domenica sera mi sono sentita male (nulla di grave, una colica intestinale, ma che la dice lunga sul mio stato di tensione emotivo... :-P), ieri e martedì la mia connessione internet ha deciso di non andare...
Forse è il caso che *certe cose* fossero preparate con un certo anticipo, in modo da calcolare *possibili* imprevisti?? Ma direi proprio di sì!! >:-)
Ma eccoci qua: Settembre è iniziato, i bambini saranno ancora a casa fino al 15, ma in qualche modo (santi nonni!!!) sto già lavorando... Una prima novità è che finalmente Giochi di Carta è un vero e proprio sito! No, non è il blog, semplicemente per il fatto che avevo bisogno di un vero biglietto da visita per tutto quello che è e che sta diventando il mio lavoro... E il blog rimarra come tale, cioè un aggiornamento sulla mia vita, la mia casa, e, naturalmente, i miei DIY.
Forse tutto ormai si potrebbe mandare avanti con Instagram, ma il blog rimane per me comunque un luogo privilegiato e di scambio dove approfondire e condividere quella cosa che mi fa sentire viva, cioè la passione.
Ho cambiato anche l'header e sistemato quei *piccoli*, ma fondamentali dettagli che ancora non funzionavano nel template... Ho molti progetti da portare avanti, ci saranno diversi cambiamenti anche per il mio negozio... Ma intanto, cominciamo da qui!
Un buonissimo Settembre pieno di cose nuove a tutti voi ♥

In short, this post must have already been online since September 1... Then instead of Sunday evening I felt bad (nothing serious, intestinal colic, but that says a lot about my state of emotional tension... :-P) yesterday and Tuesday my internet connection has decided not to go... 
Perhaps it is the case that *certain things* were prepared well in advance, so as to calculate *possible* unforeseen ?? But I would say so !! >:-) 
But here we are: September began, the children are still at home until 15, but somehow (saints grandparents !!!) I'm already working on... A first novelty is that last Giochi di Carta is a real website ! No, not the blog, simply for the fact that I needed a real business card for all that is and that is getting my work... And the blog will remain as such, that is an update on my life, my house, and, of course, my DIY. 
Maybe all you could now go ahead with Instagram, but the blog is still a special place for me to deepen and share that thing that makes me feel alive, that is, the passion. 
I also changed the header and placed those *small* but essential details that still did not work in the template... I have many projects to be pursued, there will be several changes for tmy shop... But in the meantime, let's start from here!

Relax in my studio {blog in break}

Buon 1° Agosto, è venerdì, per molti è questo l'ultimo giorno in ufficio, questa estate è un po' matta dal punto di vista metereologico, ma oggi splende il sole, e si sente nell'aria quel sapore di calma e relax, di cose che finiscono, ma di altrettante che inizieranno...

Happy 1st of August, it's Friday, for many this is the last day in the office, this summer is a bit crazy from the meteorological point of view, but today the sun is shining, and the air feels the taste of calm and relax, of things that end up, but many of which will begin...

Gli ultimi lavori sono stati consegnati, io e il blog ci fermiamo per tutto Agosto: questi ultimi mesi sono stati molto impegnativi per me, lavorativamente e psicologicamente, è tempo di sedersi di più su quella sedia con un buon libro, di lasciar libera la mente, di ascoltare il suono del mare, di respirare l'aria fresca del mattino, di dimenticarsi dell'agenda, dell'orologio, e delle cose da fare...

The latest works have been delivered, and I blog we stop for all August: these last months have been very challenging for me, about work and psychologically, it's time to sit more on that chair with a good book, to let the mind free, listen to the sound of the sea, breathe the fresh air of the morning, to forget the diary, clock, and things to do...

Paper cut illustration work in progress

Qualcuno forse si starà chiedendo che fine hanno fatto i "giochi di carta"... Effettivamente, prima ho avuto diverso lavoro al computer, poi il cambio stanze a casa, con conseguente disordine cosmico ;)... Insomma, tutto questo mi ha tolto parecchio tempo dal blog... Ma non pensate che io non stia più ritagliando!
Ho un lavoro molto impegnativo da consegnare a giorni, e che mi terrà ancora lontano dalla rete (ma non troppo!) e che non vedo l'ora di mostrarvi!
E tu, o meglio, e voi, come state? :)
Vi abbraccio...

Someone may be wondering what happened to the "giochi di carta" (card games)... In effect, before I had several job to the computer, then the change rooms at home, resulting in cosmic disorder ;) ... In short, all this to me taken away from the blog a long time ... But you don't think that I'm not cutting out more! 
I have a very demanding job to be delivered in a few days, and that will keep me still far away from the web (but not much) and I can't wait to show you!

Customized cake topper

Oggi vi racconto la mia giornata in studio di ieri: ho preparato il disegno per una nuova commissione, litigato con la luce che andava e veniva e che non mi permetteva di spedire i file, chiacchierato e what'suppato con le amiche ♥, cucito un po' il tappeto di fettuccia che sto preparando per la nuova stanza dei miei bambini (prossimamente vi spiegherò ;) ) e infine ho terminato un cake topper personalizzato per il battesimo di una dolce bambina, Adele :)

Today I will tell my day in the studio yesterday: I prepared the design for a new commission, bickered with the light that came and went, and didn't allow me to send files, chatted with friends ♥, sewing a bit a carpet that I'm preparing for the new room of my children (I will explain shortly;) ) and finally finished a custom cake topper for the baptism of a sweet baby, Adele :) 

In questo caso non ho disegnato io il soggetto, ma ho tradotto con la carta, quello che ha fatto in grafica la cara Giulia di Le Petit Rabbit, che ha curato gli inviti dell'evento.

Eccolo qua per intero! Ve lo immaginate sulla torta, farà la sua figura, che ne pensate?

In this case, I not designed the subject, but I translated the paper, what has done in the graphic the dear Giulia Le Petit Rabbit, who oversaw the event invitations.

Here it is entirely! Can you imagine on the cakewill keep to its figure, what do you think?

Ho preparato diverse nuvolette, sia con il cartoncino che con una base fatta con tempera acrilica per avere un effetto sfumato... Monica, la mamma di Adele, aveva in mente una cosa molto delicata e fresca, così sono state scelte solo le nuvolette più chiare e qualcuna panna e con le righe.

I have prepared several clouds, both with the card that with a base made with acrylic paint to get a gradient effect ... Monica, the mother of Adele, had in mind something very delicate and fresh, so only the clouds were chosen more clear and some cream and with stripes.

Qualche dettaglio, ed il lavoro è finito, già in viaggio verso casa di Adele!
Ho dormito poco, perchè sto portando avanti diverse cose, e pensando tanto... Ma sono felice di ogni piccolo passo che faccio avanti... Adesso però devo lavorare al computer, vi devo lasciare!

Creative wrapping DIY for Henkel

Buongiorno! E' iniziata una nuova settimana, come state? :)
Oggi vi mostro un tutorial che ho relizzato per la Henkel, che, come sapete, è produttrice di diversi tipi di colle ed adesivi... Noi crafters usiamo diversi tipi di colle, quindi sono stata davvero entusiasta di realizzare qualcosa con i loro prodotti!
Vi suggerisco un semplice modo per decorare un pacchetto regalo con i cartoncini colorati, stile "Giochi di Carta"! ;)

Good morning! It's started a new week, how are you? :)  
Today I show you a tutorial that I made for Henkel, who, as you know, is a manufacturer of different types of glues and adhesives ... We crafters use different types of glues, so I was really excited to make something with their products!  
I suggest a simple way to decorate a gift package with colored card style "Giochi di Carta"! ;)

Vi occorrono: carta craft, fustella circolare da 1 cm, gomma, spago bianco, cartoncini colorati, bisturi, matita e Super Attack Power Easy Gel.
Con la matita disegnate con un tratto leggero le sagome di un fiore, delle foglie e di una piccola flag in cui scrivere il nome di chi riceverà il pacchetto o un breve messaggio di auguri.
Fate un cerchio con l'aiuto della fustella, o ritagliate a mano.

You will need: paper craft, punch a 1 cm circular, rubber, white twine, colored cardboards, scalpel, pencil and Super Attack Power Easy Gel.
With the pencil drawn with a light stroke the shapes of a flower, leaf and a small flag to write the name of who will receive the package or a short greeting message. 
Take a circle with the help of the punch, or hand-cut.

Provate a fare una composizione solo sovrapponendo gli elementi, poi quando siete sicuri delle posizioni levate il fiore, mettete una goccia di Super Attack Power Easy Gel all'estremità dei vari elementi e rimettete il fiore facendo una leggera pressione.
La vostra composizione floreale di carta è pronta!

Try to make a composition of by overlaying elements only, then when you are sure of the positions raised the flower, put a drop of Super Attack Power Easy Gel end of the various elements and replace the flower with a little pressure. 
Your floral paper arrangement is ready!

Adesso non vi rimane che incartare il vostro regalo, mettere un altro punto di colla per fissare la composizione, e... consegnare il regalo!

Ciao a tutti! Come state? Siete già tornati al lavoro o fate vacanza fino a maggio?!? Io diciamo che sono ancora in modalità "vacanza", perchè ho appena concluso un periodo lavorativo molto intenso, e... Dopo la febbre devo ancora smaltire la tosse!!
Volevo però farvi vedere una delle ultime illustrazioni personalizzate disegnata e realizzata a mano da me...

Hello to all! How are you? You have already returned to work or take vacation until May?!? I'm still in modality "holiday", because I have just concluded a very intense period of work, and after the fever... I still have to disposing the cough! 
But I want show you one of the last custom illustrations designed and handmade by me...

Sicuramente molti di voi avranno già visto una piccola anticipazione su Instagram... Ora eccola completa, in viaggio verso la casa di un tenero bambino che presto compirà 3 anni! Vi piace?

Giochi di Carta a casa di Alice {Easter workshop}

Sono passate ormai due settimane dal mio ultimo workshop a casa di Gaia, e ancora non vi ho mostrato le foto! Un'illustrazione dedicata alla primavera, alla Pasqua che si avvicina, e come sempre, la magia di tante donne sedute attorno ad un tavolo...!

It's been almost two weeks since my last workshop at the home of Gaia, and yet I don't showed the pics! An illustration dedicated to the spring, to Easter coming up, and as always, the magic of so many women sitting around a table...!

Non so voi, ma a me l'abbinamento lilla-giallo mi fa venire in mente subito Pasqua! E infatti anche Gaia ha usato un nastrino giallo per il cadeaux di benvenuto!

I don't know about you, but to me the lilac-yellow combination brings to mind immediately Easter! And in fact, Gaia has used a yellow ribbon for welcome gifts!

Con questo incontro si chiude un fortunato ciclo di 5 date ricco di esperienze, sorrisi, nuove amicizie, felicità. Io e Gaia abbiamo lavorato sodo (io nella progettazione, e lei ai fornelli!) per darvi il meglio di quello che amiamo fare nella vita. E la vostra partecipazione è stata una grande ricompensa!

With this meeting closes a successful cycle of 5 dates rich of experiences, smiles, new friends, happiness. Gaia and I have worked hard (I in designing, and her cooking!) To give you the best of what we love to do in life. And your participation was a great reward!

Personalmente adoro il baby shower: è un'ottima occasione di vedere in una volta sola tutte le nostre più care amiche, e stare un po' con loro prima che i nuovi impegni di mamma occupino gran parte del nostro tempo!

Personally I love the baby shower: is a great opportunity to see at once all our dearest friends, and stay a while with them before new commitments of mother occupy most of our time!

Per questo progetto ho disegnato un leoncino, che ha animato lo sweet table, e, naturalmente, è protagonista nel cake topper per la torta!

For this project I drew a little lion, who animated the sweet table, and, of course, is the protagonist in the cake topper for the cake!

A farmi compagnia durante la fase di progettazione e realizzazione c'era anche Sara, che si è occupata della grafica (inviti, tags, buste e confezione regali, tutto perfetto ragazza!!) e con cui ci sono state telefonate, what'suuppate, chat su Facebook... Insomma, qualsiasi metodo per confrontarci su colori, (10 di cyan in più?!?), disegni, font... e guai familiari che minavano il nostro tempo a disposizione!!

Che risate!!! (Adesso! :-P)

To keep me company during the design and construction was also Sara, who took care of the graphics (invitations, tags, envelopes and wrapping gifts, everything perfect girl!) And with which there have been calls, what's up, chat on Facebook... So, any method to to confront on color (cyan 10% more?!?), designs, fonts... and family troubles that undermined our time available! 

What a laugh! (Now! :-P)
