Handwrite lettering

Chi segue il blog da più tempo conosce il mio amore per la calligrafia, la grafica ed i fonts!!
Ho voluto quindi creare un incontro tra il papercut ed il lettering, tema che vorrei portare avanti nei miei prossimi lavori!

Those who follow the blog for longer knows my love for calligraphy, graphics and fonts! 
So, I wanted to create a meeting between the papercut and lettering, a theme that I would like carry on in my next works!

Questa volta non ho impiegato molto tempo nell'intaglio, molto nello studio del disegno!
Se vi incuriosisce vedere quanto è possibile giocare con la grafica ed i caratteri, questa è la mia boards su Pinterest dedicata!

Come molti di voi già sanno, Google Reader cesserà di esistere il 1° Luglio... Molti si sono iscritti a Bloglovin, io invece vi consiglio Feedly: l'iscrizione è gratuita e in automatico verranno importate tutte le iscrizioni ai blog che seguite.
E' molto facile da usare, l'interfaccia è personalizzabile ed è possibile organizzare i feeds in categorie, ad esempio: blog di amici, interior design, arte, cucina...

As many of you already know, Google Reader will cease to exist on July 1 ... Many have signed up to Bloglovin, but I would recommend Feedly: registration is free and will be automatically imported all subscriptions to blogs that you followed. 
It 's very easy to use, the interface is customizable and you can organize your feeds into categories, for example: blog friends, interior design, art, cooking ...

Illustrazioni per bambini Children illustrations

Le illustrazioni che vi ho mostrato in questo post hanno avuto un buon gradimento da parte vostra, così, prima di dedicarmi a qualcosa di più impegnativo, ho voluto prepararne delle altre e condividerle con voi!

The illustrations in this post I showed you had a good appreciation on your part, so before I dedicate myself to something more challenging, I wanted to preparing these others and share them with you!

Riflettevo su quante volte cerco di elaborare immagini che siano eleganti e raffinate (siano foto o disegni), probabilmente anche con scarso risultato... Ma poi penso: ho fatto per tanti anni l'illustratrice per i bambini dai 2 ai 5 anni... Il mio mondo è pieno di colore e forme cicciotte... Sono quello che sono! ;)
Tuttavia questo non è una scusa per non cercare di migliorare ancora!

I thought about how many times I try to process images that are elegant and refined (whether photos or drawings), probably with little result ... But then I think I have done for many years the illustrator for children aged 2 to 5 years ... My world is full of color and shapes chubby ... I am what I am! ;) 
However, this is not an excuse for not trying to improve more!

Workshop with Silvia Raga (me!!)

Sono molto emozionata... Però finalmente è una notizia ufficiale: il 6 Novembre 2013 terrò un workshop sul paper cutting!!!
Sono molto felice soprattutto perchè è sponsorizzato dalla Fabriano, che è la carta che uso da quando sono bambina e che credo tutti noi italiani abbiamo utilizzato a scuola... Un motivo in più per essere orgogliosa, dato che anche numerosi artisti stranieri hanno scelto un marchio italiano storico.

I'm very excited ... But finally is an official news: November 6, 2013 I will hold a workshop about paper cutting! 
I am very happy especially because it is sponsored by Fabriano, which is the paper that I use since I was a child and I think all of us Italians we used at school ... One more reason to be proud, because also many foreign artists have chosen a historical italian brand.

Il laboratorio è inserito nel progetto di Officine Fabriano, che intende valorizzare e diffondere l'uso della carta attraverso un percorso di formazione in diverse città italiane, con temi sempre diversi. E' un progetto dedicato ai docenti della scuola secondaria, che poi riproporranno quanto appreso ai loro alunni... Quindi sono molto onorata di essere stata scelta e di far parte di questa iniziativa!!

The laboratory is included in the Officine Fabriano, which aims to enhance and promote the use of paper through a course of training in several Italian cities, with ever-changing themes. It's a project dedicated to secondary school teachers, who then will re-propouse what they have learned to their students ... So I'm very honored to have been selected and to be part of this initiative!
