DIY origami book

Vi sarà capitato di leggere un libro brutto... Ma così brutto che vi chiederete perchè siete arrivati fino in fondo... Allora anzichè fargli prendere posto nella vostra libreria potete realizzare un "book origami", cioè piegate tutte le pagine del libro nella stessa maniera fino ad ottenere una sorta di figura geometrica tridimensionale...

E' un progetto che da qualche tempo osservavo in rete, ma ancora non mi sembrava di averlo visto in Italia, così ho pensato di proporvelo!
Io lo trovo affascinante... La forma ottenuta è sicuramente minimalista e moderna, ma trovo che si adatti perfettamente anche in una casa dove l'arredamento è più classico.

Ci sono diversi modi di piegare: io per il primo origami book ho scelto il più semplice, ossia piegare gli angoli di ogni  pagina verso il centro; ci ho messo due serate per farlo, massimo due ore...
Vi accendete la televisione, mettete un programma che vi piace, e intanto piegate...!

A me piace tenerlo sul tavolino davanti al divano e se utilizzate un libro vecchio ed ingiallito sicuramente il risultato sarà ancora più di effetto!

Love paper cut

Oggi vi mostro il primo paper cut della stagione! Probabilmente alcuni lo avranno già visto sul mio profilo Instagram... Per chi non l'avesse visto si tratta di un intaglio fatto durante le ultime settimane di Agosto, un po' disperata di non riuscire a fare più nulla da mesi!!!
Settembre per me porta con sè molti significati: è il mese in cui mi sono sposata, in cui è iniziata la mia avventura in una città nuova... In cui ho iniziato a bloggare e in cui ho realizzato il primo paper cut!!

September for me brings with it many meanings: it is the month when I got married, when I started my adventure in a new city ... When I started blogging and when I made ​​the first paper cut!!

Un mese di cambiamenti, insomma, rischiosi anche, ma dettati dal cuore, dall'amore: per il mio compagno, e per le mie passioni!

New season needs a new look workspace!

I in these summer months when my hands were far from paper, scalpel and scissors I thought a lot ...

In questo anno sono successe tante cose, ho provato a farne diverse, ho conosciuto moltissime persone... Mi sento profondamente arricchita e felice dalla mia esperienza di blogger!
Tuttavia si sta per aprire per me un nuovo capitolo di vita, ed è difficile riuscire a gestire diverse cose, benchè mi sia divertita tantissimo a realizzarle!

In this year many things have happened, I tried to make it different, I have met many people ... I feel deeply enriched and happy from my experience as a blogger!
However you are going to open for me a new chapter of life, and it is difficult to handle different things, though I've had lots of fun to come true!

Ho dovuto scegliere cosa tenere e cosa lasciare... E inizio questo Settembre con un nuovo look al mio studio: tanto spazio bianco da riempire con nuovi progetti, ed un imperativo che più che mai mi sembra ormai imprescindibile: "the time is now", "il momento è adesso"!

I had to choose what to keep and what to leave ... And I begin this September, with a new look to my studio: plenty of white space to fill with new projects, and an imperative that more than ever it seems to me imperative: "the time is now"!
