On Saturday I held my first workshop of paper cutting in a special library in Frosinone, cArtaria.
Mi sono alzata molto presto, e le macchine lungo la strada erano davvero poche...
I got up very early, and the cars on the road were very few ...
Arrivo a destinazione, incontro Silvia e Sandro, rispettivamente figlia e papà, che hanno creato insieme questo spazio pieno di libri, quadri, stampe, curiosità... Non sapevo dove fermare gli occhi!
Arrival at destination, meeting Silvia and Sandro, respectively daughter and dad, who together have created this space full of books, paintings, prints, curiosity ... I didn't know where stop my eyes!
Arriva il primo gruppo, e ci mettiamo subito a lavorare!

Riportiamo il disegno sul foglio e iniziamo a intagliare...

Le partecipanti sono molto concentrate...

... ma si è anche parlato molto e scambiato esperienze!
... but we have also talked a lot and we have exchanged experiences!
Ognuna rifletteva sulle imperfezioni del proprio lavoro, ma io invece ho fatto notare che tutte insieme, avevamo creato qualcosa di bellissimo!
Io ero molto emozionata...! Ringrazio Silvia e Sandro che mi hanno accolto e ospitata nella loro splendida libreria rendendo tutto questo possibile, e le partecipanti di essersi cimentate con entusiasmo in questa tecnica da loro mai utilizzata.

Each one reflected on the imperfections of their work, but instead I pointed out that all together, we had created something beautiful!
I was very excited ...! I thank Silvia and Sandro who welcomed and hosted me in their beautiful library making all this possible, and the participants to cimentate with enthusiasm in this technique they never used.
