E' venerdì!!! Vi lascio al weekend con la spensieratezza di questa illustrazione creata per il secondo compleanno della piccola Benedetta...! Con la voglia di sentirsi leggeri, di stare bene, essere felici, di una torta o un dolcetto, di sole, di cieli azzurri e nuvolette...

It's Friday!!! I leave the weekend with the thoughtlessness of this illustration created for the second birthday of Benedetta...! With the desire to feel good, be happy, of cake or a sweet, of sun, blue skies and clouds...

La foto non è il massimo, ma lo studio la mattina ha sempre la luce blu, ed io sono perennemente di corsa tra una commissione e l'altra... Qualche scatto e via, subito a preparare il pacco, pulire il tavolo ed iniziare un nuovo lavoro! :)

The photo is not the best, but the study in the morning always has the blue light, and I'm constantly running between a commission and the other... Some shots and so, now to prepare the pack, clean the table and starting a new job! :)

Sono sicura che questo progetto tutte le persone affezionate del blog se lo ricorderanno! E' uno dei diy che vi è piaciuto di più creato per Craft Cafe, la rubrica di Heart Handmade Uk a cui collaboro.
E adesso lo vedete stampato sul numero 66 di Mollie Makes! Io sono elettrizzata!!! Già quando è stato promosso Gusto Menta è stata una grandissima soddisfazione ed un importante riconoscimento... Adesso che tra le pagine di questa meravigliosa rivista c'è anche una mia creazione, insieme ai progetti di tante donne creative come Ayda di CafenoHut, Emma Lamb, o grandi artiste come Lisa Congdon... E' favoloso, non ci sono altre parole!

Paper Cut Wedding Portrait

Vi ricordate questi romantici rami di rose? Li avete visti in questo ritratto di due futuri sposi, e sono piaciuti così tanto da essere stati richiesti per un altro regalo di nozze! :)
Io ne sono molto felice, perchè anche nella ripetizione di un elemento decorativo nel disegno traspare l'unicità e le passioni delle persone, come possono essere l'amore per gli animali ed il tifo per la Roma... Da notare la sciarpetta giallo-rossa dello sposo! ;)

Remember these romantic branches of roses? You've seen them in this portrait of two future spouses, and liked them so much that they have been requested for another wedding gift! :) 
I am very happy, also because in the repetition of a decorative element in the design, there are reflected the uniqueness and the passions of the people, how can be the love for animals and rooting for the Roma football club... Note the scarf yellow-red of the groom! ;)

Workshop Origami

Buongiorno! Siete appassionati di origami come me? Il 7 Maggio farò un workshop ad Albano Laziale, in provincia di Roma! Sarò ospite da TUedIO Design, creatori di abbigliamento per bambini e Associazione che organizza corsi, laboratori e letture animate!
Sarà un evento proposto ai bambini e alle loro mamme, quindi un momento speciale per condividere ed imparare una cosa nuova insieme!
I piccoli saranno guidati nella realizzazione di questi cuori e fiocchi origami, che decoreranno dei biglietti di auguri per la festa della mamma! :)
Per tutti coloro che vogliono passare a fare un saluto potrete trovare una piccola esposizione dei miei lavori con la carta!

Good morning! Are you origami enthusiasts like me? On May 7, I'll do a workshop at Albano Laziale, in the province of Rome! I will be guest from TUedIO Design, creators of clothing for children and association that organizes courses, workshops and interactive guide! 
An event will be proposed to the children and their mothers, so a special moment to share and learn something new together! 
The children will be guided in making these hearts and origami bows, which will decorate the greeting cards for Mother's Day! :) 
For all those who want to move to say hello you can find a small exhibition of my works with paper!

Come vi avevo detto nel post precedente, ecco finito quello che realizzeremo il 16 aprile durante il mio prossimo workshop, da Cartaria, a Frosinone! :)
Un intero table setting composto da centrotavola, portatovagliolo e segnaposto di fiori di carta!

An entire table setting consists of a centerpiece, napkin ring and placeholders of paper flowers!

New Custom Cake topper

Ciao a tutti, oggi vi presento il mio ultimo cake topper! E' stato realizzato per la piccola Virginia, in occasione del suo primo compleanno e battesimo!
Girandole, un bunting sospeso tra le nuvole, dolcezza e colori pastello sono gli ingredienti di questo lavoro... Vi piace? :)

Hello everyone, today I present my last cake topper! It was created for the little Virginia, on the occasion of its first birthday and baptism! 
Pinwheels, bunting suspended in the clouds, sweetness and pastel colors are the ingredients of this work... Do you like it? :)

Paper Couple Portrait

Buon lunedì a tutti! Oggi c'è un sole meraviglioso, qui gli alberi da frutto sono tutti in fiore e gli uccellini cantano... La primavera arriva e anche la stagione dei matrimoni! Il 12 Marzo è stato il giorno di Maria Laura e Alessandro, a cui Chiara ha deciso di fare un regalo diverso, un loro ritratto di carta!

Happy Monday everyone! Today there is a wonderful sun, here the fruit trees are all in bloom and the birds are singing... Spring comes and also the wedding season! On 12 March was the day of Maria Laura and Alessandro, who Chiara decided to make a different gift, a paper portrait! 
Remember those branches of roses that frame? You've seen them in the preview in this post! ^^

Eccolo l'immagine completa! Vi piace? Le foto dei due giovani sposi che avevo per disegnare i personaggi sono davvero dolci e ne è uscito un ritratto molto romantico! Sarà che sono molto innamorata anche io, vedo rose e cuori dappertutto! ♥

Here it is the complete picture! You like it? Photos of the young couple that I had to draw the characters are really sweet, and out came a very romantic portrait! Maybe because I'm very much in love too, I see roses and hearts everywhere! ♥

Paper Cut tags for Havaianas

Le mie ultime settimane si possono riassumere in questa frase che leggete nella foto qui sopra... "Svegliatemi domani"!!!!
Sono molto orgogliosa di mostrarvi una delle mie ultime commissioni di lavoro, delle tags per un evento organizzato per la fine della settimana della moda di Milano da Havaianas, presso il beauty center Bahama Mama... Io super felice ed entusiasta, ma questo credo che lo avrete capito anche da soli, no? :D

My last few weeks can be summed up in this sentence you read in the photo above... "Wake me tomorrow"!!!! 
I'm very proud to show you one of my last working committees, the tags for an event organized for the end of the Milan fashion week by Havaianas at the beauty center Bahama Mama... I'm super happy and excited, but I think I'll also have figured out yourself, right? :D

Adoro lo spirito di Havaianas, così pieno di energia e colore, e infatti mi sono davvero divertita a realizzare queste tags, che ho realizzato a mano intagliando sia scritte che le illustrazioni.

I love the spirit of Havaianas, so full of energy and color, and in fact I really enjoyed creating these tags, which I did hand carving both the written and the illustrations.

Adoro anche disegnare la verdura e la frutta, oltre che mangiarla... Si vede?? ^^

I also love to draw vegetables and fruit, as well as eat it ... You see ?? ^^

Quanto sono sfiziose! Amo il mio lavoro! ♥

Le tags sono state appese sopra il bancone del juice bar del Bahama Mama, dove le giornaliste hanno potuto rilassarsi gustando dei buonissimi centrifugati... Non vi nascondo quanto mi sarebbe piaciuto poter partecipare all'evento! 

The tags were hung above the counter of the Bahama Mama juice bar, where the journalists were able to relax while enjoying the delicious smoothies... I don't hide what I would have liked to join the event!

Paper roses

Buon lunedì e buon inizio di settimana! :)
Ogni tanto mi riaffaccio per condividere i "giochi di carta in progress"! Domani è l'8 Marzo, festa della Donna... Io sto realizzando queste piccole rose di carta per il convegno "Noi Donne Oggi" che si terrà domani a Villa Sarsina nel comune di Anzio (RM).

Every now and then I reappeared to share "card games in progress"! Tomorrow is March 8, International Women's Day... I'm making these little paper roses for the conference "We Women Today" to be held tomorrow at Villa Sarsina in the town of Anzio (RM).

Le rose saranno corredate con un nastro di raso per essere legate al polso, verranno offerte a tutte le partecipanti del convegno e portate da noi relatrici... Perchè dico "noi"?? E perchè ci sarò anche io a parlare della mia esperienza nell'ambito del lavoro come donna!
Nei miei workshop lo sapete, sono molto spontanea e parlo a ruota libera... Nelle occasioni ufficiali sono terribilmente in imbarazzo... Ma ho accettato volentieri, perchè questo incontro è organizzato dalla mia psicologa dott. Maria Romano dell'associazione La giostra dei Colori, perchè vorrei condividere la mia esperienza con altre donne, e... perchè bisogna affrontare e cercare di superare le proprie ansie e paure, come ad esempio la mia di dover parlare in pubblico!!! ;)
Se mi legge qualche donna del litorale laziale o di Roma, sarei molto felice di salutarla...
A domani!! E viva noi donne ♥

The roses will be accompanied with a satin ribbon to be tied to the wrist, will be offered to all participants of the conference and bring by us speakers... Why do I say "us" ?? And because I'll be there also to talk about my experience in the work as a woman! 
In my workshop you know, I am very spontaneous and I talk to freewheel... On official occasions I'm terribly embarrassed... But I gladly accepted, because this meeting is organized by my psychologist Dr. Maria Romano of the association The carousel of colors, because I would like to share my experience with other women, and... because you have to deal with and try to overcome their anxieties and fears, such as my having to speak in public !!! ;) 
If I read a few women of the coast of Lazio or Roma, I would be very happy to greet... 
See you tomorrow!! And hurray for women ♥

Nuovo workshop da Spazio Culturale MY G

Oggi vi parlo del primo workshop in programma del 2016! Si terrà il 27 Febbraio a Milano presso lo Spazio Culturale MY G!
Che cosa faremo? Delle lanterne di carta con 3 motivi decorativi diversi, intagliate con la tecnica del paper cutting: un oggetto semplice ma nello stesso tempo scenografico e di grande effetto :)

Vi ricordo che nella quota di iscrizione sono compresi tutti i materiali e l'orario è dalle 11 alle 16.

Qualche giorno fa ho realizzato alcuni animaletti del bosco, per un'illustrazione di compleanno!

Drawing Patterns

Tra le cose che mi piace di più disegnare ci sono i patterns! Ci sono volte che mi viene un'immagine in testa mentre sto facendo tutt'altro... Allora il primo pensiero è di trovare un po' di tempo per metterlo giù, e perdere i miei pensieri tra mille linee e forme...

Among the things I like best to draw there are patterns! There are times that I get a picture in the head while I'm doing other... Then the first thought is to find a bit of time to put it down, and lose my thoughts a thousand lines and shapes...

Questo l'ho disegnato qualche giorno fa, ma ci tenevo a condividerlo perchè a me piace molto! :)
In realtà anche durante le vacanze di Natale non sono stata completamente ferma... Avete visto i nuovi pattern disegnati per le carte adesive di Gusto Menta? Date un'occhiata qui e ditemi se vi piacciono!!! :)

Gusto Menta on Mollie Makes

C'era una volta un'illustratrice per l'infanzia. Che aveva voglia di dire al mondo (e a sè stessa) quanto fosse speciale, quanto potesse essere brava, che voleva quel posto che aveva sempre sognato nella sua testa, e nel suo cuore.
C'era una volta una donna che aveva perso di vista la cosa più grande. Il suo mondo interiore, la consapevolezza che dentro di sè accadono cose molto più interessanti che all'esterno.
Un giorno l'illustratrice ha aperto un blog. Non si sapeva bene per quale motivo, se per disegnare, giocare con la carta, comunicare con i mezzi migliori che ha a disposizione, che non sono certo la parola ed il linguaggio, ma i colori e le forme, le immagini. O più semplicemente, ha deciso di ascoltare quella voce che veniva dalla pancia. E "fare".
Il cammino per raggiungere quel posto, per me è ancora lungo, ma, lasciatemelo dire, questo che vedete è una delle cose più belle che potessero succedere: Gusto Menta è sul numero 62 di Mollie Makes, con l'art print dal colore più ardito che abbiamo utilizzato, il giallo. Federica ed io abbiamo rischiato... Ma le ricompense arrivano sempre nel momento e nella maniera meno inaspettati!

Her inner world, the knowledge that within themselves things happen much more interesting then out.One day, the illustrator has started a blog. No one knew exactly why, if to draw, play with the paper, communicate with the best means at its disposal, which are certainly not the word and language, but the colors and forms, images. Or more simply, she decided to listen that voice which came from the belly. And "do".
