Giochi di Carta a Merry Handmade Roma

Ci siamo, domani è il grande giorno, quello di apertura del Merry Handmade Roma! Come al solito a questo tipo di eventi non riesco mai ad arrivare "preparata", ho ancora delle cose da terminare, mi dimenticherò sicuramente qualcosa a casa... Insomma l'emozione avrete capito è tanta, perchè è la prima volta (e aggiungerei finalmente!) che c'è una così bella iniziativa a Roma, peraltro in una zona molto vivace come quella del Pigneto! :)

Here we are, tomorrow is the big day, the opening of Merry Handmade Roma! As usual in this type of events I can never get "prepared", I still have things to finish, I surely forget something at home... So you understand the emotion is so great, because it is the first time (and I would add finally!) that there is such a good initiative in Rome, however, in a very lively district as that of Pigneto! :)

Cosa troverete? Le palline origami, perchè quest'anno l'albero lo volete fare diverso, perchè vi manca quell'angolino da decorare, perchè le avrete solo voi! :-P

XMAS Gift Wrapping for Cesvi {and free printable!}

In perfetto clima natalizio, finalmente vi parlo di questi pacchetti regalo che ho studiato per Cesvi in occasione della giornata mondiale dell'AIDS ed il lancio della loro campagna "Impacchettiamo un Sogno", tenuta al Mondadori Bookstore di piazza Duomo a Milano, e al quale ho avuto il piacere di partecipare mostrando le mie idee per confezionare i regali!
Come avrete visto, il logo di Cesvi è un esagono arancione con delle linee: io mi sono divertita a reinterpretarlo creando delle tag esagonali e usando una fustella a fiocco di neve; ho accostato l'arancione a dei toni naturali, al blu, e un immancabile tocco di rosso! :)

In true Christmas spirit, finally I speak of these gift packages that I studied for Cesvi on the occasion of World AIDS Day and the launch of their campaign "We pack a Dream", held at the Mondadori Bookstore in Piazza Duomo in Milan, and which I had the pleasure to participate in showing my ideas to package gifts!
As you have seen, the logo of Cesvi is an orange hexagon with lines: I enjoyed to reinterpret it by creating tags and using a hexagonal punch snowflake; I pulled the orange with tones natural, blue, and a touch of red! :)

L'esagono è una figura geometrica di tendenza, molto utilizzata nel design! Così ho progettato un packaging esclusivo proprio di questa forma, con l'apertura a petalo: può contenere delle stampe delle vostre foto di Instagram, un biglietto speciale, un gioiello... E per provare a realizzarlo vi lascio il free printable che potete scaricare qui e qui!

The hexagon is a trendy geometric figure, widely used in design! So I designed an exclusive packaging just in this form, with the opening petal: may contain prints of your photos of Instagram, a special card, a jewel ... And to try to make you leave the free printable that you can download here and here!

Per realizzare la scatola esagonale vi basterà stampare il printable su un cartoncino leggero, ritagliare le due parti, unirle, e piegare lungo le linee tratteggiate.
Inserire il vostro dono e chiudere le alette sovrapponendole una dopo l'altra, fatto! :)

To realize the hexagonal box you can just print the printable light cardboard, cut out the two sides, combine them, and fold along the dotted lines.
Place your gift and close the flaps overlapping one by one, done! :)

Interview for Forage Paper Co.

Oggi mi sono svegliata felice! :)
Per diversi motivi, ma uno di questi sicuramente è stato trovare nella mia casella di posta l'email di Christina, che diceva che la mia intervista era online! :)
Ho conosciuto Christina attraverso Instagram: tempo fa sono stata taggata in una foto in cui veniva postata una mia illustrazione fatta con i cartoncini colorati, e insieme figuravano quelle di altri talentuosi artisti, tra cui proprio lei. Ho iniziato a seguirla, e lei ha seguito me; è stupendo come le connessioni arrivino con questa semplicità e spontaneità! Ammiro molto il suo lavoro :)
Succede poi che in primavera io inizio a collaborare con Federica per la nascita di Gusto Menta, e coincidenza anche lei nello stesso periodo lavora per la sua personale linea di stationery, Forage Paper Co. : senza saperlo, i nostri brands sono nati insieme, con la stessa passione!
Forage Paper Co. ha anche un blog, e una rubrica dove vengono presentati e intervistati diversi artisti provenienti da ogni angolo del mondo, e insomma, esserci non sapete quanto mi rende felice!!
Ringrazio tantissimo Christina per far conoscere il mio lavoro in America, e approfitto per dirvi che il nostro Gusto Menta, ideato e prodotto in Italia, è venduto in diversi negozi del nostro Paese, in Svizzera, e, appunto, in America!

Today I woke up happy! :)

For several reasons, but one of them certainly was finding in my inbox an email from Christina, who said that my interview was online! :)I met Christina through Instagram: time ago I was tagged in a photo which was posted my illustration made with colored cards, and included with those of other talented artists, including her own. I started to follow her, and she followed me; it is amazing how the connections come with this simplicity and spontaneity! I really admire her work :)It happens then that in the spring I started to collaborate with Federica for the birth of Mint Taste, and coincide in the same period she also works on her personal line of stationery, Forage Paper Co.: unknowingly, our brands are born together, with the same passion!Forage Paper Co. also has a blog, and a column where are presented and interviewed several artists from every corner of the world, and be there, you don't know how makes me happy!!I wanted to thank Christina to introduce my work in America, and I take this opportunity to tell you that our Mint Taste, designed and produced in Italy, is sold in different shops of our country, in Switzerland, and also in United States!Here my interview and I invite you to discover and follow
