Goodbay 2014!

Oggi è l'ultimo giorno dell'anno!

Today is the last day of the year! I write a little post to greet you and to look back in 2014...!
For me it was a very difficult year: I faced with great pain my marital separation, and unfortunately this continues to cause a my inner balance... Concentrate on the job, on the light, the colors, gave me the strength to go forward, and this 2014 is still been a bit a year of confirmation for Giochi di Carta: numerous publications and collaborations with italian and foreign magazines (Flow Magazine, TuCrea, Elle Decoration Sweden, CasaFacile), the wonderful experience of the workshop, the illustrations made for the online german magazine SisterMag, for you and for your children...
For the first time I made the drawings for a video in stop motion, in the last months of the year have given space to my passion for origami, creating lots of origami balls!
In short, it was a year full of experiences, that are helping me to understand more and more what path to choose... Not that I don't know, is that maybe I do too many things! ;)
For next year I would like more happy moments... I would like more flowers and more colors... I would like to draw and blogging more... I would like a year of light...
I thank my friends: those distant, the new ones and the ones standing, those who perhaps never meet live, but with whom I formed a bond that I could never give up... Thanks for having been close to me and for your affection!
Happy 2015 to everyone, it can be bright, happy and creative for all of you!

Xmas packages and cards {for real}

Buongiorno ragazze!

Hello girls! How many days have passed since the last post? I haven't counted, but what I know is that the days go fast, I worked almost exclusively on the computer, and between recitations of children, appointments, packages to do, you find yourself already December 19... And it's Friday...
I don't know if I will make another post Monday, as Christmas approaches, and I will not make promises without being able to keep...
I haven't prepared any tutorial, no free printable...

... and these are some of my packages "real", made early this morning, accompanied by greeting cards, written late last night. Are small thoughts to some distant friends... Some don't even know who will receive it, and I like it even more, because you tell me if it's nice to receive a gift, a surprise... Those little things that changes your day, they make you give a smile if the day is not really one of those right...

Nonostante tutto.

In recent months I have had several days really very sad, due to my personal situation... Then maybe, of unexpected things happening... An email with a special message... To know new people and talk for hours, as if there you know for a lifetime. Win a giveaway of a person that you value a lot, and I hope to talk to you soon, receive proposals for collaboration, see my pics to go far...
Wonder how many things are beautiful in life... Despite all.

So now I'm really happy to donate to my turn this unexpected happiness! :)
I like to take care packages, to no matter what they contain... ;) I like to think that colors likes the recipient, I like to choose a beautiful paper, ribbons, boxes, and greeting cards... I am a of those who collects and preserves all, and you? :)

Io vado a finire altri pacchetti! ;)
Che sia un Felice Natale...

I wish you to spend peaceful hours immersed in this wonderful Christmas atmosphere... I'm going to finish other packages! ;)
We hug, a huge thank you for all your word: these letters, these packages after all they are also for each of you!
That there is a Merry Christmas...

Oggi da me è molto nuvoloso e c'è poca luce...

Today is the last event of the year of the books of smallSara and I thank you very much for the comments here and on Facebook, and we hope to have fun with our stories, in addition to keeping you discover some good books to read with your children!
Today I was very cloudy and there is little light... I propose a title that fits the season in which we are about to enter, the winter.

This book is a small masterpiece of poetry... The text is really reduced to the essentials, but I find it to be perfect in describing what happens just during the winter: the snow falls...

... lentamente ricopre ogni cosa, e tutto sembra fermarsi, tutto è silenzio e pace...

... slowly covers everything, and everything seems to stop, all is silence and peace...

Hey, but then something happens! And I leave it to you to find out, if you want to pick up this book! ;)
To us has arrived two years ago, one of the Christmas presents for Sebastian... But I have to tell you, I bought a little for me... Because I'm an illustrator, and I love the books to the madness... and sometimes i think if I would spend less money on books, maybe I could get me a trip and live that dream that winter, a winter in a country in Northern Europe, with the dry cold, the coffee to warm up, the fika, silence, bicycles, plants, paper stars, white snow, and the dark night that comes early...
It was winter, one of the wonderful books of Editions Corraini.
I remind you that if you give a book to your children, here and here you will find all books reported by me and Sara.
Good winter, wherever you are

Paper poinsettia DIY {tag along Christmas blog hop}

Ciao ragazze, come state?
Io, Claire, Ayda, Regina, Silvia, Aga, e Coral.

Hello girls, how are you? I after spent almost a week drawing at the computer, yesterday I finally cut a bit of time to do what I love, that invent new "Game Card" and think a little how to make my Christmas packages! :)
Today in Craft Cafe on blog's Claire there is a fantastic blog hop, that is a post where partecipate all the team! Me, Claire, Ayda, Regina, Silvia, Aga, and Coral.

- matita
- colla a presa rapida
- palline di legno
- forbici
- nastri

Here you will find my tutorial to realize a simple paper Poinsettia! You need:
- 3 square sheets measuring 14, 10, 8 cm of lightweight paper (can be good gift card or paper for origami)
- pencil
- glue quick setting
- wooden beads
- scissors
- ribbons

Started folding the sheet of paper in half.

Fold it in half again as in the photo and do the same thing with the sheets of the other measures.
With the scissors shaped leaves as you see in the picture, from largest to smallest.

Open sheets, and you will get the petals that will form your poinsettia.

Overlap them and glue them to each other only in the center, then completed with three wooden balls.
Choose a ribbon and glue it to the back to tie the star wherever you like! :)

Here it is on a nice red package, you like? I decided to make more and try to make a garland...!

Intanto ecco i miei pacchetti regalo!

E certe magie avvengono proprio a Natale...

This post talks about how several years ago the italian magazine CasaFacile has triggered me the desire to change my life... In the current issue of December (also in issue decor of November ;) ) there are me too...  ♥

Christmas paper

With this post I will talk about another little dream I'm trying to realize, announces many new things to me are in my head for some time already and I want to make concrete from the impending new year... :)
What you see in the picture is a set of cards decorated, the sheets measures 20x20 cm and patterns are all designed by me. Are motifs at Christmas theme, but nothing prevents use stars and polka dots on other occasions too, right ?! ;)

You can create bunting, beautify your packages, make tags: paper weight allows you to use any punches! I think this paper set for us lovers of paper, craft, handmade.
My will be a small business, but this is the first of many steps we want to do in my way!
The Christmas paper is now available in my shop, here!

Winterly fox {new custom illustration}

Buongiorno e buon primo giorno di Dicembre! :)

Hello and good first day of December! :)
This is the month of waiting, the affections, of the darkness that comes early and the joy of lighting candles and Christmas lights, to be together, drinking hot chocolate, tea and herbal teas...
In this month there is also a sweet mom expecting a baby, that asked me an illustration customized for the bedroom of his little one... You've already glimpsed on Instagram here, practically over already, and today I show you the illustration entirely!

Grazie!

The baby will come in the winter, so Judith and her husband wanted something with mountains and a fox... I would have added a cloud that takes us into this magical world and unrepeatable as the birth of a child... And you can not understand how happy I am to know that my design is in your houses!
Thank you!
