decorazione vasi gerani diy

Buongiorno a tutti, voi sapete quanto ami le piante ed i fiori, come avete visto fino adesso nella mia galleria di Instagram mi sono occupata principalmente delle piante indoor, ma finalmente con l'arrivo della bella stagione mi sono potuta dedicare anche ai miei terrazzi! E quale pianta è regina di tutti i balconi? Il geranio, naturalmente! Ancora mi ricordo di quando ero piccola e con mio papà in primavera sistemavamo il nostro balcone con questi fiori: sono passati gli anni, ma io la trovo una pianta ancora attuale ma soprattutto generosa nella fioritura e resistente. Il geranio Zonale è forse quello più conosciuto ma ci sono anche altre varietà in commercio come il Peltatum, il geranio cosiddetto "edera", ricadente, il Crispum, con piccoli fiorellini variegati, ed il Grandiflorum caratterizzato da fiori più grandi con il centro più scuro e la foglia dentellata. Io li ho sistemati tutti su questo portapiante bianco, utilizzando anche delle cassettone di legno e dei cachepot di ceramica. Però vi voglio dare anche un'idea diy per decorare dei semplici vasi di terracotta, di quelli comuni che abbiamo tutti noi! Come? Ve lo mostro passo passo con le prossime foto:

Prendete il vostro vaso di terracotta e pulitelo bene con un panno per eliminare la polvere o la terra. 

Prendete un pennarello bianco adatto a tutte le superfici e disegnate un motivo decorativo molto liberamente. Possono essere delle righe, dei pois, quello che volete.

Io ho scelto questo motivo a onda! Potete disegnare su tutto la superficie del vaso oppure solo su una parte. 

Inserite la vostra pianta nel vaso e avrete dato un tocco più personale alla vostra composizione ed al vostro balcone! Cosa ne dite? Io non vedo l'ora di farne altri, e riempire di gerani tutto il mio terrazzo!

Cachepot di carta con Stelle di Natale

Quando arriva il Natale non si non comprare una Stella di Natale! Perché già da sole riescono a donare all'ambiente in cui sono poste un'atmosfera di festa! Già da qualche anno io le preferisco bianche rispetto al più tradizionale rosso, perché le trovo ancora più eleganti e si sposano meglio con l'arredamento di casa mia.

Ma come ogni nuova pianta, il problema per me diventa sempre lo stesso: come coprire il vaso, che non è esteticamente il massimo, mentre la pianta è stupenda? Con un cachepot, ma non vorrei neanche spendere sempre soldi! ;)

Allora ho pensato ad un modo veloce economico e creativo per realizzare dei coprivaso con la carta, con la tecnica della carta plissettata, cioè piegata a fisarmonica.
Il risultato come potete vedere è semplice, dalle linee pulite per non contrastare l'esuberanza della pianta; elegante e moderno! Vi spiego come si fa!

Prendete due cartoncini con misure 25x35 cm; con la matita segnate dei piccoli punti ogni 3 cm sul lato da 35 cm, sia sopra che sotto. Quindi con l'aiuto di un righello piegate il cartoncino in senso longitudinale seguendo la traccia dei punti.

Una volta fatte tutte le pieghe, alternatele a fisarmonica. Eseguite gli stessi passaggi anche per il secondo cartoncino.

Con la colla vinilica attaccate i due cartoncini plissettati.

Formate un cilindro, ed ora potete inserire la vostra Stella di Natale ed eventualmente anche un sottovaso.

Per i cachepot più piccoli ho utilizzato un cartoncino di 11x60 cm facendo le pieghe ogni 1,5 cm.

Date il tocco finale aggiungendo un nastro per rendere ancora più ricco il cachepot e posizionate le vostre Stelle di Natale. Io ne ho prese due mini, che posso spostare da una mensola, alla libreria, al tavolo, in modo da creare sempre nuovi angoli decorativi, ed una più grande da lasciare a terra.

Cosa ne pensate? Io sono molto soddisfatta perché con poco le mie Stelle di Natale hanno un valore aggiunto in più e donano una bellissima atmosfera nella mia casa!

Non è stupenda l'atmosfera che si respira a Natale? Come la state vivendo, cosa state facendo? Ve la state assaporando con i vostri bambini, con chi volete bene? Spero di sì, e mi piacerebbe un sacco entrare in tutte le vostre case, sentire il profumo dei vostri biscotti, curiosare tra le vostre decorazioni, perdermi ascoltando i racconti sulle vostre tradizioni natalizie...! :)

It isn't wonderful the atmosphere at Christmas? How you are living, what you're doing? Are you enjoying with your kids, with those you love? I hope so, and I'd love to get in all your homes, smell the scent of your cookies, browse through your decorations, lose myself listening to the stories about your Christmas traditions...! :)

Io vi faccio entrare a casa mia: è rimasta sempre colorata e piena di fiori, ma ho accostato principalmente il menta, tanto bianco, e dei tocchi di rosso! La luce è sempre meravigliosa e queste giornate di sole a Dicembre sono stupende... Quando fa buio io e i bambini accendiamo la lampada a stella, le lucine dell'albero e le candele, allora tutto diventa magico, viene voglia di prendersi una coperta, leggere un libro e farsi una tisana! Rilassarsi...

My house is always colorful and full of flowers, but I pulled mainly mint, much white and touches of red! The light is always wonderful and these sunny days in December are amazing... When it gets dark the children and I turn on the lamp star, the lights of the tree and the candles, then everything becomes magical, it wants to take a blanket, read a book and take a herbal tea! Relax...

E' la "nostra" casa: una casa dove non ci sono troppe regole ed in cui io e i miei bambini siamo liberi di esprimerci... Adoriamo tutti e 3 i nostri spazi, decorarli e viverli.. Anche se ogni tanto devo ricordare a "qualcuno" ;) di fare un po' di ordine... Perchè se non l'avevate capito, non siamo per niente minimalisti!! :-P
Per il prossimo anno ho già in mente dei piccoli cambiamenti e qualche aggiustamento nella mia camera da letto ed in quella dei ragazzi... Non vedo l'ora di mettermi all'opera! Nel frattempo, mi vivo il presente, il sole sta tramontando, e tra poco è ora di accendere le luci... E di abbracciare chi volete bene! ♥♥♥

It's "our" home: a home where there are no too many rules and in which my children and I are free to express ourselves... We all love our spaces, decorate them and live them... Although sometimes I have to remind "someone" to do some order... Because if you had not understood, we are not at all minimalist!! :-P 
For next year I have in mind small changes and some adjustments in my bedroom and the kids room... I can't wait to get to work! Meanwhile, I live the present, the sun is setting, and soon it's time to light the lights... And to embrace those you love! ♥♥♥ 

Craft Room storage: le scatole di legno Gusto Menta

Ciao a tutti! Come state? Vi porto ancora una volta nel luogo in cui lavoro ogni giorno, al computer, disegnando a mano, o anche solo a dedicare un po' di tempo a me stessa tra montagne di carte di ogni genere... Ecco a voi il mio studio! ;)

My Craft Room {back to work!!!}

Diciamolo, il vero lavoro inizia adesso, cioè quando i bambini vanno a scuola! :-P
Perchè se poi loro prima stanno una settimana con il papà e io con il mio fidanzato, casualmente la mia adsl decide pure di non funzionare più O.O
Ma come vedete, dopo 15 lunghi giorni, finalmente torno a bloggare, pensare a nuovi post, fare una delle cose che mi piace di più in casa: cambiare la disposizione degli oggetti! ;)))

Let us say, the real work starts now, that is when the kids go to school! :-P 
Because then if  first they are a week with their dad and I with my boyfriend, casually my adsl well decide to work not more O.O 
But as you see, after 15 long days, finally I get back to blogging, thinking about new post, do one of the things I like most at home: change the arrangement of objects! ;)))

In realtà poi non è che sia cambiato molto, se non una cosa fondamentale: prima attaccavo i disegni degli altri... Adesso ci sono i miei :-P e tutto quello che io e Fede abbiamo prodotto per Gusto Menta!
E non mi sembra vero... 

Actually it's not that much has changed, except one fundamental thing: first on my wall were drawings of others... Now there are mine :-P and all that I and Fede we have produced for Gusto Menta! 
It doesn't seem real...

Oggi da me piove, queste foto le ho scattate i primi giorni di settembre... Mi sono voluta portare dietro ancora il calore del sole e il sapore dell'estate, perchè alla fine sabato eravamo ancora in spiaggia e citando Albert Camus 

"Nel bel mezzo dell'inverno ho infine imparato che vi era in me un'invincibile estate" 

(e grazie alla mia amica Valentina che mi ha fatto conoscere questa bellissima frase, pensando a me...)
Non è ancora proprio invincibile, la mia estate, ma diciamo che ci sto lavorando! ;)

Today is rainyy from me, these photos I've taken the first few days of September ... I wanted to bring back even the sun's heat and the taste of summer, because in the end we were still on the beach Saturday and quoting Albert Camus 
"In the midst of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer"
(and thanks to my friend Valentina, who introduced me to this beautiful phrase, thinking to myself ...) 
It not yet owns invincible, my summer, but let's say I'm working! ;)

Alcune di voi mi chiedono spesso come riesco a rendere funzionale e bello il mio spazio... La risposta è questa: provate, cambiate, spostate... Non abbiate paura! Mentre caricavo le foto di questo post, scorrevo quelle fatte negli scorsi anni... E sono terribili! :D
Ma questo è il bello, ho imparato provando e riprovando, mi sono circondata dei colori e delle cose che amo, e piano piano ho trovato il mio stile... 
E adesso non resta che iniziare...!! Buon lunedì a tutti! :)))

Some of you often ask me how I can make functional and beautiful my space... The answer is this: try, change, move... Don't be afraid! While loading the photo of this post, I watched those made in recent years... They are terrible! :D 
But that's the beauty, I learned by trial and error, I surrounded the colors and the things that I love, and slowly I found my style ... 
And now we just have to start...!! Happy Monday everyone! :)))

Gusto Menta Vintage Design for Vintage Lovers

Ci siamo... E' il ancora il 31 agosto ma qui si riparte con più carica che mai!!
Oggi è online il grande progetto di cui vi ho parlato da diverso tempo, quello che ha tenuto me e Federica sveglie la notte, ore e ore al telefono, ore e ore al computer, ore e ore a pensare, valutare, perfezionare. Fede la conoscete, è sponsor del mio blog da diversi mesi e proprietaria di Decochic, un negozio online pieno di meraviglie per la casa, i party ed il craft per noi amanti dei colori pastello e del design vintage!
Voglio raccontarvi un po' di più: un giorno io e lei ci siamo incontrate, parlando ininterrottamente per ore, e abbiamo deciso di realizzare quello che per noi mancava in Italia, cioè dei prodotti di cartoleria e di decorazione per la cucina e la craft room.
Li abbiamo pensati, disegnati e fatti realizzare esattamente come se fossero prima di tutto per noi stesse: delle cose utili, e belle, che possano dare quel tocco in più di stile e personalità dove viviamo e lavoriamo!
Soprattutto, li abbiamo scritti in italiano (anche se verranno anche realizzati interamente in inglese), perchè siamo convinte della nostra identità, e fiere di far parte di quel design italiano di qualità per cui tanto siamo apprezzati all'estero, sì!
Abbiamo pensato a noi donne che lavoriamo in rete, a quello che può esserci utile per organizzare e pianificare il nostro lavoro online, e decorare il nostro spazio, sia un semplice angolo o una stanza.
Io andrei avanti a scrivere un sacco di altre parole, perchè ci abbiamo messo davvero tutte noi stesse, ma invece la smetto :-P, e vi invito semplicemente a scoprire e seguire

Here we are... It's yet the August 31 but here it starts with more charged than ever!! 
Today is online the great project of which I spoke for quite some time, the one that kept me awake at night and Federica, hours and hours on the phone, hours and hours on the computer, hours and hours to think, evaluate, refine. Fede you know, is a sponsor of my blog for several months and owns Decochic, an online store full of wonders for the house, the party and the craft for us lovers of pastel colors and vintage design! 
I want to tell you a little more: one day she and I we met, talking non-stop for hours, and we decided to create that was missing for us in Italy, that are stationery and decorative products for the kitchen and the craft room. 
We have thought, designed and realized them exactly as they were first of all for ourselves: the useful things, and beautiful, they can give that extra touch of style and personality, where we live and work!
Above all, we have written in italian (although they will also made entirely in english), because we are convinced of our identity, and proud to be a part of the Italian design quality for which we are much appreciated abroad, yes! 
We thought of us women who work in the web, to what can be useful to organize and plan our work online, and decorate our space, is a simple corner or a room. 
I would go on to write a lot of other words, because it took us really all the same, but instead I'll stop :-P, and I invite you to simply discover and follow

My apartment on Ikea Family Live

Non scrivo un post da Maggio...!! Il mese di Luglio sta quasi per finire e le vacanze sono dietro l'angolo... Che cosa è successo nel frattempo??
In realtà è da metà marzo che sono arrivate contemporaneamente un importante progetto di lavoro, ed una persona che ha preso il mio cuore ♥♥♥
E' stato un periodo davvero intenso, ho lavorato giorno e notte, per riuscire a fare tutto, ma ho anche sognato, pianto, riso... e pensato tanto. Riflettuto, dedicato tempo a quella cosa che si chiama introspezione, ad ascoltare e guardare dentro me stessa. Ci pensate mai? Quanto siamo in dialogo con il nostro io? Quanto tempo dedichiamo a riflettere, su quello che ci succede e di come il nostro modo di reagire agli eventi, influenza la nostra vita?
Ho riscoperto emozioni che non sentivo e provavo da anni... Tutto questo mi ha letteralmente travolto... e così la mia vita in questi mesi ha avuto poco spazio per il web!
Con il lavoro è quasi tutto pronto ;), io e Federica non vediamo l'ora di farvi vedere cosa abbiamo costruito insieme...
Le mie vacanze inizieranno ufficialmente questo weekend... Il mio Mac starà spento ancora per un po' e saranno solo giorni di sole mare e amore ;)
Ma io già penso anche di tornare a bloggare... e a disegnare!
Questo che vedete nella foto è il mio soggiorno... L'appartamento in cui vivo è nel numero di Agosto di Ikea Family Live! (Anche se la mia, è una casa che sa di mare ed estate tutto l'anno! ;)) )

I don't write a post from May...!! The month of July is almost over and the holidays are around the corner... What happened in the meantime ??  
It's actually from mid-March that arrived simultaneously an important work project, and a person who has taken my heart ♥♥♥  
It was a really intense period, I worked day and night to get things done, but I also dreamed, cried, laughed... and thought so. I thought, devoted time to that thing called introspection, to listen and look inside myself. You think about that? As we are in dialogue with ourself? How much time we devote to reflect on what happens to us and how the way we react to events, influence our lives?I rediscovered emotions have not heard and felt for years... All this I was literally overwhelmed... and so my life in recent months has had little space for the web!With the work is almost ready;), Federica and I can not wait to show you what we have built together...My holidays begin officially this weekend... My Mac will stay off for a while and will only be days of sun, sea and love ;)But I already think also to return to blogging... and drawing!What you see in the picture is my living room... Heart doilies garland

Quante ghirlande avrò fatto finora? :)
Non lo so, (dopo le conto! ;) ), ma non mi stancano mai, perchè sono facili da fare, divertenti, veloci, e con poco si rende accogliente qualsiasi angolo della casa!
Tra un po' si avvicina S.Valentino, e questi sottotorta a forma di cuore di Decochic, mi sembravano perfetti per preparare qualcosa a tema!

How many garlands I have done so far? :) 
I don't know, (after I count them! ;) ), bBut I never get tired, because they are easy to make, fun, fast, and makes little is cozy any corner of the house!
In a little Valentine's Day is approaching, and these heart doilies by Decochic, seemed perfect to prepare something themed!

Vi occorreranno pochissime cose!
-sottotorta Decochic (disponibili anche in rosa)
-spago bianco Decochic
-piccoli pezzetti di nastri di diverse tipologie
-forbice

You will need very few things! 
-doilies Decochic (also available in pink) 
-baker's twine Decochic 
-small pieces of ribbons of different types 
-scissor

Tagliate circa un metro di spago e fatelo passare attraverso i buchi in alto del cuore come vedete nella foto...

Cut about one meter of baker's twine and pass it through the holes in the top of the heart as you see in the pic...

Alternate i cuori delle due misure (nella confezione insieme ai classici sottotorta rotondi) e poi tra un doily e l'altro aggiungete dei pezzetti di nastro, così, in maniera molto libera e spontanea.

Alternate the hearts of the two measures (in the package along with the classic round doilies) and then between a doily and the other add bits of ribbon, so, in a very free and spontaneous way.

Fatto, la ghirlanda è pronta per essere appesa dove preferite!

Done, the garland is ready to hang wherever you like!

Amo questi colori messi insieme, e questi cuori sono così deliziosi che vorrei metterli in tutta casa!!!!

Flowers and SelfPackaging

Buon lunedì! E' ritornato il sole! :)
Da me le temperature sono sempre abbastanza miti... C'è già qualche fiore che sta spuntando nel mio terrazzo...! Ma in attesa della primavera sono passata dal fiorista e oggi con le scatoline di carta di SelfPackaging vi voglio proporre un modo semplice per comporre dei piccoli bouquet da portare in regalo ad un'amica, o per decorare la nostra tavola! :)

By me the temperatures are always quite mild... There is already some flowers that are popping up in my terrace...! But waiting for the spring I went to the florist and today with SelfPackaging paper boxes I want to propose an easy way to compose small bouquet to give to a friend, or to decorate our table! :)

Le cose che vi servono sono:
-scatoline, nastro, tags di SelfPackaging
-barattoli di vetro di recupero (da marmellate, yogurt, miele)
-fiori

The things you need are: 
-boxes, ribbon, tags of SelfPackaging 
-jars of recovery (from jams, yogurt, honey) 
-flowers

Prendete un vasetto di vetro, mettete dell'acqua ed iniziate ad inserire i fiori, poi aggiungete del verde, io ho preso alcuni rametti dalle mie piante aromatiche e dalla Veronica variegata.

Take a jar, put the water and started to put the flowers, then add the green, I took some twigs from my herbs and Veronica varied.

Quando siete soddisfatte della vostra composizione vi basterà inserire il vasetto di vetro all'interno della scatola, et voilà, fatto! :)

When you are satisfied with your composition you can just put the jar inside the box, and voila, done! :)

Se dovete fare un regalo, vi basterà aggiungere un nastro per dare un tocco speciale in più...
La praticità di questo progetto è che mettendo i fiori in un barattolo, che è un contenitore piccolo, potete ottenere una composizione ricca senza dover spendere troppo; se dovete creare diversi bouquet per decorare la tavola in qualche occasione le scatole di SelfPackaging sono un'ottima soluzione per coprire tutti i barattoli, cosa ne dite? Può essere una buona soluzione se dovete fare una festa!

The practicality of this project is that by putting the flowers in a jar, which is a small container, you can obtain a rich composition without having to spend too; if you need to create different bouquet to decorate the table on occasion SelfPackaging boxes are a great way to give to cover all the jars, what do you think? It can be a good solution if you need to have a party!

Buongiorno ragazze! Il venerdì è arrivato in un soffio, come vola il tempo, non pare anche a voi?!?!
